Frome, Somerset

A lovely town clad in warm stone. The lamppost stands on Catherine Hill near all the trendy, artsy shops. Though it was a freezing cold day when we visited, the message about this lamp post warmed my little cockles quite nicely!

The dedication reads:

“The Valentine Lamp

Let the lighting of this lamp today, the 14^th Feb. 1993 dedicate this site forever to St. Valentine, patron and protector of all who find love, regardless of race, creed or gender.”
